Diana Brown Finalist in 5th annual Art Project LA
Diana Brown, Photographer and Emmy Award Winning Makeup Artist is a Finalist in the 5th Annual Art Project LA. Her living art, Vincent Van Gogh was in the top 4, competing with over a hundred artists in various mediums such as painters, sculptors, photographers, etc. This image showcases her skills in photography, makeup and painting to create this Living Art image of one of Vincent Van Gogh's self portraits. She has been working on a collection of his self portraits and hopes that this is only a teaser for what is to come. She is honored to be a part of such an important event and having her art given such accolades.
The event, to be held on June 6th, at and in partnership with Bonham's International Auctioneers and Appraisers, is for the benefit of APLA, Aids Project Los Angeles, in which Diana has donated in memory of her friend, and IATSE Local 706 hairdresser colleague, Timothy Lasquade.
The event location will be at 7601 Wl. Sunset Blvd., LA, CA 90046 from 6 till 10 pm.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!
I really have to give a shout out to Katarina Anaïs Tickel for raising her son, Cinjin, to be one of the most impressive young boys I personally have ever met. He is so wise, smart and well mannered. Shot this image last year. Soon, I will post more of that shoot with Cinjin and his mom, but this image was perfect for the 4th as we celebrate freedom in America.
